What You’ll Do
As a Guide, you’ll lead a group of 5–10 students through their learning journeys in a flexible, nurturing environment—either in-person (home-based or community space) or virtually. You’ll create a space where kids feel safe, heard, and empowered to set goals, pursue their interests, and master essential skills.
Your role includes:

Guiding students through a mix of academic content, creative projects, and real-world learning.

Facilitating rich group discussions, hands-on activities, and reflective journaling.

Using our structured learning framework and tools to help students track progress.

Cultivating a culture of curiosity, kindness, accountability, and self-motivation.

Communicating regularly with parents/guardians to share progress and celebrate wins.
Who You Are

A lifelong learner and positive role model who loves working with kids.

Passionate about student-driven, non-traditional education.

Comfortable leading group activities and adapting to individual learning styles.

Organized, dependable, and capable of managing a small classroom environment.

Able to pass a background check and complete required training.
Bonus if you:

Have experience teaching, mentoring, or homeschooling.

Have CPR/First Aid certification or child development coursework.

Are excited about starting your own microschool from home or a community location.
